FINe ART PHOTOGRAPHY

I love long exposure night photography for its ability to capture multiple moments into one image. The barrage of lights captured blend together in unpredictable ways that produce images that transcend space and time. My work in long exposure night photography helps me to transform reality into the mystical. My art practice reminds me that we can shape our reality into anything we want it to be. We are not stuck in any situation. Nothing is fixed. We have the power to change our lives in an instant by one small choice. My photography practice is the most beautiful reminder that reality is what I make it.

My work is experimental. I experiment with different types of city lights, shutter speeds, methods of movement and camera placement. I don’t stack my images in the editing process. Every photo is taken in one click of the shutter. I do not photoshop my photos and I only use light color grading to bring out the natural colors captured in the image. 

I never quite know what I will capture and there is nothing more exciting to me.

My work has been internationally exhibited at the Night Photography, Cityscapes, Fine Art, Moments of Color exhibitions at the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece as well as the Chania International Photography Festival in Chania, Greece in 2023 and 2024. One of my photos was also selected to be exhibited at the Night Vision exhibition at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and is on view from November 2023 – June 2024 at Terminal 4, level three, pre-secruity.
